This extension is super helpful. Now that I've explored the profile feature, it's really helping me stay focused.
Perhaps from my 40+ extensions, this is the best of all of them. And that's coming from a guy who used it for more than three months. This sloves the conflict:"That extenion is taking ram and but sometimes I need it". It's so simple, deactivate any extension you don't need all the time to be left with only three or four or even ten instead of 50, and when you need one quickly like download helpers, just open click it's name form Extensity's menu (which has a search feature) and use it. What's amazing is that you can pin most of the extensions then disable them without ending up with a cluttered bar. Then whenever you need one and activate it, it's right there in your bar for you. Great job, this extension is life changing. I rarely write any review of anything but this extension, man I had to.
simple and useful
Simple, elegant and do the job.
After a few months of using this extension in both Vivaldi and Brave I have not had any problems at all with either the extension OR its functionality. It has been the most valuable tool I have when troubleshooting freeze ups and/or slow downs in both browsers. I'm proof of just how "dummy-proof" it is to use. The learning curve required to begin using it is practically flat. Something I truly appreciate. The dev(s) have done and Incredible job. I highly recommend it to any low to moderately technical user or any user who doesn't really have the time or motivation to RTFM or read excessive help documents. Thank you for creating and offering this tool!
Lacks grouping! i wish it also had dark mode!
Hasn't been updated in a few years now. Chrome is changing rapidly. Eventually, this extension will stop working. If extension is every updated, I would like to have my settings backed up to file so when I need to reinstall Chrome (clean install) all my extensions are organized.

One suggestion - with all the extensions available, sometimes it is difficult to remember what extension does what, or the specific tricks to using them effectively and so on. Not sure if technically possible, but if a searchable notes field could be added for each extension in Extensity then that would be very handy Thanks Rob

I use many Chrome extensions based on my workflow, general use, and entertainment, and managing them used to be a hassle. I had to go through Chrome settings just to enable or disable extensions. I've been using this forever (in Vivaldi), but haven't clicked on it for a while and it now doesn't appear to work. Using Vivaldi 7.3. Click the icon and all you see is a smaller picture of the icon underneath, no list of apps. Is it broken now?

Such a great idea and executed very well. --------------------------- I have only one suggestion: --------------------------- It would be great if you allowed combinations of profiles instead of only activating one set at a time. For example I could normally uses profile "Base", and when I watch youtube switch to profile "Youtube". But if I want my normal "Base" extensions active during "Youtube" I have to duplicate the selections in each profile, and if I ever change "Base" I have to duplicate those changes into all of the other profiles that build on top of "Base". But if the profiles could be active at the same time I only have to configure "Base" one time, and I can easily switch between different stacks of extensions in different situations without worrying about making a ton of profiles that have different combinations but share the same core extensions. --------------------------------------- Thank you so much for your hard work!! ---------------------------------------
